Fire Iron Pro simulates authentic blacksmithing through a physics-driven heat management system. The forge operates on real-world temperature curves where carbon steel reaches critical hardening point at 1,475°F while tool steel requires 2,100°F. Every metal type responds differently to hammer strikes based on its current heat state and carbon content percentage.
The quenching mechanism calculates thermal shock based on oil versus water cooling speeds, affecting blade hardness and brittleness values. Tempering follows historical methods where precise 400°F heating reduces brittleness by 30% while maintaining 85% edge retention. Pattern welding requires maintaining identical temperature across seven folded layers within a 50°F tolerance window.
Advanced smiths unlock Damascus steel forging where alternating nickel and high-carbon layers create signature wave patterns. The grinding station uses belt grit progression from 80 to 3000 mesh, with each stage removing specific micron depths. Handle fitting involves mortise geometry calculations and tang temperature control to prevent wood scorching during assembly.
Dynamic heat gradient system tracks temperature across blade sections in real-time. Watch steel transition through black, red, orange, yellow and white-hot states. Forge maintains coal bed temperature between 2,300-2,700°F with bellows air flow control affecting combustion intensity.
